Beats Of Genesis vs. Legend B ~ Lost In Love 2K6
Yes, Fellow Listeners! The same Legend B that we know …Well almost not everyone, old school music listeners know exactly what I am speaking of . A special old duo from Pete Blaze and Jens Ahrens –known also under a Cenith X aliase- offered the electronic dance music scene a special trance music favour by dropping the beautiful oldie “Lost In Love” back in the old days, 1994. ‘Lost In Love’ exceeded everyone’s expectations, by having billions and zillions of mixes and remixes all along since 95, reaching nowadays: Sean Tyas Alternative Mix, David Prodygee & Van De Traxx Mix, and Sean Tyas Mix.
Whether you still have no idea who Sean Tyas is or how much his skills can reach the peak of talent in Trance Music then you better give Sean Tyas Mix only a short listen, enough. It is never about Red Jerry’s Mix, neither Baby Doc’s … By no offence, want to call it old fashioned then Fine! Sean Tyas introduces us to the new hard and uplifting world which he always tend to bring to us in each masterpiece he produces. Now by offering us a new “Lost In Love” mix, Sean Tyas really proved his music skills, his perfect taste and great style by adding a kind of new lost in love version to be mentioned along side with a ‘GREAT anthemic club classic’, surely speaking of the old Original! Swift Beats supported with other good hard elements at its starts, Sean Tyas’s Mix should surely satisfy speed lovers at the beginning, yet when reaching the b-e-a-utiful breakdown, then back off: Time To switch places with Melodic Trance Heads!
Enough Speaking of Sean Tyas for now, time to judge on David Prodygee & Van de Traxx Mix which is also a “superb” mix to listen to: darker elements were involved in this mix, embellishing even more the tune and being quite different of what Sean Tyas Mix sounded like. Again, dark and heavy elements are quite noticeable at the beginning, swifter beats and deep melodies warming up for the unexpected reduce of beats at the moment were sweet/low female vocals finally interfere for a short length and do the opening up for a gentle yet also energizing bassline. Also a perfect tune!
Can’t really point my finger at a particular mix, however I must admit that both Sean Tyas’s & David Prodigee/Van De Traxx’s are superb, by each one having its own unique style, close beats/melodie, and same sound quality.
Now back to Sean Tyas, prolly he seems to be the man on this new release: Sean Tyas Alternative Mix sounds never better, Sean did great always being on the melodic uplifting side not only by never omitting the sublime breakdown, but also by adding more melodies along with swift beats just after the bassline shows up. A real slight difference between the ‘alternative’ and the main mix, however it can surely impress many of trance music fans. Whether you loved Sean Tyas Mix, then you should be liking this one as well: both are being good energizers, yet this one could be offering the less. Good one indeed!
A new remix is being added to the release, Lost In Love (Sysex Style-Mix) definatly recalls us with the oldie original by Tosch. It is quite noticeable that same if not swifter beats were used in this Mix, which completely changed the style to a typical hard trance style, close to the one which can be found in the original but on a different newer version. Still good for a listen! A close friend of mine gave me a simple and short advice this afternoon, and I bet you all should take this serious: Still the Original pwnzzzzzz … i.e. Listen To The Beautiful Oldie “Lost In Love” and you’ll get the message. No?
