halla2 Raneeem bsharafak are you seriously comparing Danjo's productions to Saeed Mrad's?! he just add a kick/bass and insert some loops over an existing track (and he doesnt even do it himself!) pls let's not get into that but believe me (and it's not that because you're my friend) but it's degrading to include your name next to his..

as for the track, actually i would've preferred a dub version of it, simply coz i like such style of hard uplifting productions.. you see when you talk with real trance listeners ya Mr. Raneem you cant really think we like a track because it has lebanese vocals in it.. walaw! u know better! ;)

^ dude..many loved this track just because Danjo did it (this may not include you). Let's suppose a lebanese DJ did this one, they will bash him to death!

To be honest ... I didn't grasp it at first, the lyrics that is. I just accepted it as if it were Opera-ish like Delirium and such. And i loved it ... mostly the Monogato's mix  .

Monogato's Filth Remix for me. Had to edit down the breakdown though, it's way too long!

My take on the whole thing is that the original's instrumentality didn't really do it for me (but that's just a prog racist's taste so never mind) but I do like the vocal use (although Danjo probably has no idea what they mean) due to the vocals themselves sounding nice (I prefer lyricless vocals over lyrical) and since I can relate to them as a Lebanese. I agree with Raneem when he says that had an Arab producer (excluding Aly & Fila since they're already known abroad) made this track it wouldn't receive as much hype in Lebanon. But I'm also on SamEr's side in that I certainly don't add Said Mrad, REG, Osane, and I don't know who to my list of respected regional producers! They do their own thing which is in no way related to what you guys do, and I don't find them to be that good at it either. Raneem, C-Rouge, Johnny Rizk, Beavis, Aly & Fila, Ali Ajami, Fady Ferraye, Hassan Rasmy, G-Mohris, Diamond Setter, and a few other names I forgot (no offence anyone): those are EEEDDDMMM names I respect, and had any one of those used Arabic vocals in a track, I would've supported it even more than As The Tables Turn - precisely what I did with Raneem's remix of Desert Rose.

^+1...

The problem is few of todays Lebo producers get enough recognition globally... locally since its a small country, clubs can convey, although not all radio stations support locals and it is very tough for one to get his track aired on Lebo radios...its the way Lebanon is...Why does a producer get more recognition than in lebanon ? because he got more opportunities more chances and believe me the producers that Dio just listen would do great if it were for proper exposure and more support from other people than the locals!

Another reason, I think, that this track is probably more appreciated in the arab scene is because the track was made by a non-arab (I think?). Appreciation of different cultures? For example, Cliff Coenraad has been overusing that bloody indian sample ... but hey, it works here and everywhere else. If some indian bloke did that ... people here would be like "you piece of fck ... why dont u use some other language. Indian's not exotic to us anymore ... we got USED to it." ...

Get my drift?

we get the drift, everyone's freakkin drift...
But if a track IS quality regardless of the vocals, i don't think we should all start jumping on it for the wrong reasons!

This is great production. End of discussion!
