Ok I'm back with my final decision. Plz read it and correct me if I'm wrong!
1 ) Ten Seconds Before Sunrise is a good track. I like the pads in it and it sounds somewhat emotional.
2 ) Everything (feat. Jes) is a very overrated track only because the vocals are great. The track itself was produced in a very shitty way, not to mention the slight rip-off that Tiesto got away with in that track. If you haven't noticed yet, at the end of the track there's a melody that appears which is veerrrrryyyy similar to
BT's
Dreaming track under the
Lucid remix. OR,
BT himself produced that track, which is another shitty deal cuz it shows how much effort Tiesto put into this album
3 ) Do you feel me (feat. Julie Thompson) is another track with great vocals and shitty production. Did you guys listen to the bassline? A beginner in producing music can compose a much better bassline than that! It's just another 1-finger production.
4 ) Carpe Noctum is sort of a bad follow up to Traffic. I can sense that Tiesto tried to add a more melodic feel to the follow up but didn't do a great job. Not impressive at all!
5 ) Driving to heaven. Basic track but great ideas. I like this one.
6 ) Sweet things (feat. Charlotte Martin). Hmmmm, I like this one too! The vocals are great and the ideas are good. It's not too good or too bad. But yeah I like it. I can think of some great remixes for this track! Imagine a Dogzilla remix or something haha.
7 ) Bright Morningstar. This is a --->
BT<--- production right there! The instant the track started I
knew this was
BT's sound. The main melody confirmed it for me too. The synth used here is the same one used in
Flaming June in case any of you haven't noticed too. This is one track I'm looking out for though. I think this is going to be my fave on the album. Anyone who followed
BT's sound for a while will know why I like this track

I wanna hear an ATB remix for this one!
8 ) Beak my fall (feat. BT) is a club oriented track and I'm sure it sounds great on the loud speakers.
BT's voice is still amazing but the vocals are shit until the chorus kicks in (which isn't anything special mind you)! This is one of the most talked tracks on the album and I don't see what the hype is all about. I'll say this though, if you focused enough you'll notice a slight resemblance of the "In Search Of Sunrise" sound that Tiesto used to use back in the days for his remixes. I miss those tracks
![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
So yeah not so much of a big track here.
9 ) In the dark (feat. Christian Burns). Basically it's a rock influenced track. I love this one! Great vocals and the track wasn't so badly produced. The kick in at the 1:12 minute is beautiful. There HAS to be a rock influenced track in every recent Tiesto album too so yeah I think that's it. This is my fave vocal track on the album.
10 ) Dance 4 life (feat. Maxi Jazz) I loved the track during the very beginning (original mix btw) with those echoing tech sounds but the main melody and the breakdown are utter shit! If this track would've have been the actual follow up to Traffic then it would've been much better! In fact it would have been one of the highlights of this album and 2006!!! The cheesey melody takes away the excitement from this track. Of course Maxi's vocals are great.
11 ) Elements of life another "life" track lol. WHAT A FUCKING SHITTY INTRO! My Yamaha 1998 electronic piano can do much better than that! Come to think of it, it sounds like one of those weird pianos that are played during weddings when the bride and groom are walking down the aisle where the buildup and the kick-in turns the wedding into a club! LOL!!!! But seriously, the track is almost a follow up to "his" so called Adagio For Strings. I'll give it to him though, he somehow pulled this one off. It's not so bad. But it's just ... bad
![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
So yeah after the main melody kicks in, I am so sure he fooled around with the synthesizer to bring "life" (iroonnyyyyyy) to yet another Adagio For Strings haha. Meh! Just another normal track. Great commercial shit for the kind of fan base that he has.
12 ) He's a pirate (Tiesto remix). I have never seen a remix being part of an artist album. And no! Ferry didn't do it! He basically remade his OWN track just under his System F and Moonman aliases. So they're basically his tracks. The remix of the movie's main theme is good though. I love the bassline in this one and the breakdown isn't so bad too. But I'm 110% sure that it's not his work. Tiesto has never come up with such a bassline and synth!
All in all, my opinion still is the same. The album is just another shitty "innovation" towards the Tiesto sound which is (sadly) targetted towards people who don't have the ear for great and quality trance (or ED) music. Just basic tracks that COULD have made it to the charts if they were produced back in 2000. It's just another failed attempt by Tiesto.
Guys, trust me, Tiesto is nothing right now! He's only commercial material!! I've seen better DJ's and producers out there who can pull off better sets and tracks.
So far:
L.E.F. > Tristate > Common Ground > Elements of Life
