KUFFDAM & PLANT - SUMMER DREAM

Not a new release,but definitly one of the biggest summer tune ever,and it took my time to get my hands on this gem.Released last june by (020 recordings) hammered by top djs like PvD,ferry,Tiesto,matt hardwick,AVB,Nu nrg,fred baker,and john askew.The echo of this tune is still around the clubs all over the world,as it has been remixed by pvd (vandit),slusnik luna "Tsunamy records",and Trance therapy remix.Kuffdam aka Tony burt who had produced several tunes under joof's recordings and coorporated with big djs like alphazone and alex morph,said this is one of his biggest productions ever.

Hi there guys

Let me first of all say that I am happy to be on this cool forum. I noticed this post when searching the web and wanted to stop by and say hello.

I would also like to clear up some matters regarding the post above and Summer Dream.

First of all.... my name is John (aka Kuffdam) and I am not Tony Burt nor is Kuffdam & Plant another production name for Tony. The only connection we have with Tony Burt is that he runs Above The Sky Records and 020 which we are signed with.

I am based in Scotland and I have DJ's and Produced tracks here for around 8 years now. Yiannis (aka Plant) is based in Cyprus and we have never met but we have been writing tracks together via the internet and MSN now for about 2 years.

Summer Dream is our most recent release and was due to be released on 020 Records in the summer of this year. The track was then picked up by Vandit Records and the original release was delayed due to this change in labels. 020 Released a very small number of promo's with the Luna remix while we waited for PVD to complete his remix.

In this time PVD has still to complete his remix but he is playing some versions live during his tour just now. As for the Trance Therapy mix, its just a rip off.... its nothing to do with us and its actually a very poor bootleg. All the guy did was take the sample from the middle and play it at the start and he ripped it from a radio broadcast of our original mix. He could have at least done some work on it I think before ripping us off....

Anyway the situation right now is that its due for release very soon on Vandit with all the mixes except the Therapy one of course....

First of all im very proud that u signed in our forum,hope u enjoy it.
Second,i would like to thank u for clearing things up,especially when it comes to the "tony burt" issue,it wasn't really my fault,i just acquired this info from another forum and it turned out to be false.
Third,your productions are quality,i wish u best of luck,and hope to c u on dj mag top 100 djs next year.

I've recently heard a tune by "harris c"-(without you),remixed by kuffdam & plant.Is it really ur remix,or a mislabled one?

wow!! this must be the coolest "clear up" posts ever.. it's by the man himself!! thanks for the updated info!! i guess many sites needs to get updated as well coz this wrong info has been spreading wide.. anyway thanks again for clearing it up and thanks for your wonderful productions.. you're surely making many trancers around the globe happier!! and hope we get the chance to meet you up in Lebanon one day

Ideally I would be posting some mixes as in DJ mixes if that's cool with you........ Sharing our tracks is hard just now as we are under contract with Above The Sky...

If the mix thing is a problem then I will follow your board rules...
