What a bomb!
A full-on sound that would sound similar to many psy-trance releases, but
proves everybody wrong when those wicked melodies drive in. An
absolutely flawless album from the young talent Marcos Sanchez
from Mexico City. Marcos is also a member of the band FFT (Future
Frequency Technology) and have managed after several years of
production to present his first album in a high skill of production with a
sound which is energized by colourful melodies and powerful basslines (or
should I say 'Bombs'?) and kicks.
Psytrance has been blooming in Mexico and Brazil for about a decade now,
but Lamat is the only one that I heard of from the Mid/South American
continent up till now - and boy, how pleased I am that I got this release of
his! First outstanding debut album from Marcos that promises stronger,
bangier, edgier and more psychedelic productions clearly viewed on the
far horrizons of this album.
Catching, infectious, driving and a literally dustless album! I couldn't find a
shred of flaw to comment on but to narrow my choices down: I seemed to
prefer ''the hysterically laughing'' Teletranceporter and full-on Neovibrating.
GET IT! Even if you don't listen to psytrance: Get it!
