debut album 'Mental Notes' at HOMmega Productions. After I laid my hands
on a number of unreleased tunes for this duo, having a considerable
number of their tunes being released on compilations at various labels
such as TIP World, Crystal Matrix, Neurobiotics, Phantasm and Alchemy,
and seeing them live alongside John 00 Fleming in The Gallery last
November, my addiction towards their sound grew upstoppable at the
speed of sound. Few are those artists who hook me up to their sound at
such a short notice and it basically goes down to their sound being totally
different than what is being produced nowadays, X-Noize music has a
unique identity as it blends hypnotic atmosphere, warm bass and strong
groove. The album includes collaboration tracks with Domestic and DJ Guy
Salama and a new remix for Pixel's big hit - Flip the script. As well
as Device Manager, Insert Silence, and The Sperminator as top
tunes of the album. I honestly loved the album with least negative feedback
for any of the tunes, but if any, Brain Wave (Club Mix) could be the
least stunning of those 10 gems. Top album with extensive focus on
teasing beats what makes their sound really seductive and hard to follow
or predict, voted as 'Best Album of the Year' by Isratrance members
(largest online psytrance community).
