Marc Van Linden - Forbidden Love

I was surprised not finding any review for this track over here. IMO not a 2005 style, yet a classic tune! Paul Van Dyk's best friend MVL hits the trance scene with two decent melodic trancers. Featured on POD 2, along with big support from the biggest DJs around the globe, this is one track that will take you back to the late 90's trance era.

Typical MVL style, powerful buildup accompanied by uplifting strings. Long breakdown at 3:30 mark introducing the main melody which is all about twinkling piano riffs. The tune explodes again as MVL's bangy bassline intrudes.

The B-side Remix reminds you of PVD's early productions, almost the same style you find in the clubbers' god first album. Many liked this version but it's too weak for me, I prefer the A-side.

Both are mixed by mvl...A & B remixes sound so much like MVL style.
