few days ago, i layed my hands on 2 new CDMs for one of 2004's hottest releases "Young Parisians" (aka Solarstone) titled "Jump The Next Train"..
while checking both tracklists with their usual remixes, i noticed in both CDMs their was a "Vadim Zhukov" (dub and remix) which was kinda new (wasnt released with any previous promo or vinyl as far as i know..) and i had to check it out! and what a track it is!!!
the Russian champ managed just another time to deliver a quality choon!!
the bassline is more proggy and somehow more subtle, a definite Vadim Zhukov's trademark! in addition to clear vocals and few added trancy elements turning the first part of this track a typical progresser!
everything would sound going normally until the breakdown at around minute 4 where the beat just stops and after that a new melody kicks in marking the start of Vadim's well known creativity and talent that turns this track upside down and after a while a new acid synths kicks in with a totally different new melody while the beat kicks in again and without noticing the track turns by itself into an uplifter!! Vadim's own proof that there's no actual difference between progressive and uplifting.. it's all about good music.. it's all about TRANCE!!
very decent remix that surely deserves to be checked out!!
