Shane is back, this time with a double collaboration with Woody van Eyden on one side and Hampshire on another, resulting in their new-born child Futuristic that features a bassline to die for! Really, just let that bassline play solo at a club and people will move their fat asses. The melody is somewhat swallowed up, but it flows great with the big beat. Remixing is John Askew, adding an obvious acid touch to the buildup, and delivering a surprising melodic breakdown... but a no-surprise melody-less climax. If it weren't for my love for the Roland TB-303 acid sound, the remix would have encountered the same fate that all other Askew remixed faced; you know which folder I'm talking about!
