Fred Baker collaborates with Greg Nash delivering three monstrous tracks under 2Play Recordings. As usual, Fred Baker is more dedicated to the hard-dance/tech-trance genre and this release is no exception, though Baker has the ability to produce wonderful melodies as you might have noticed in his previous tunes (Beautiful Sunshine/Sweet Moonlight).
Three Track EP features 3 tech-trancers with "Electo Shock" on the A-side. This tune is BIG, and is expected to nuke the dance-floors everywhere. Already been hammered by Armin van Buuren, Eddie Halliwell, Blank & Jones, Jon O’Bir and many more. Bangy bassline, scary breakdown with a dark heavy distortion and an amazing techy-melody.
"Back From Amazonia" on the B1. Remains in the atmosphere of "Electro Shock" as it includes the same instrument found in the buildup of "Electro Shock". Progressive bassline with some tribal techy elements, sounds boring to me as it continues in this way for 7 whole minutes. Nothing interesting, and nothing special in the breakdown.
"The Jungle" on B2. This one is close to Back From Amazonia, but the bassline is much more energetic . Just another hard edged trancer.
I can say this release is all about "Electro Shock", on my current favorites.
A: Electro Shock
B1: Back From Amazonia
B2: The Jungle
