Next up on Neuroscience, we have a great release from up-and-coming Canadian DJ/producer Raneem, by the name of ‘Equinox‘. Raneem has previously featured on our sub-label é música, as well as labels such as Shah, Ora and Progrez.
With the original mix, Raneem has taken influences from many styles. The track has a distinct big room vibe due to the solid kick and growling bass line. Raneem has also added plenty of melodic elements, which work well, eventually creating the superb atmospheric breakdown. The addition of the piano lead is the icing on the cake… An all round good track here!
First up on remix duties, we have Neuroscience regular Evgeny Bardyuzha. Evgeny seems to have taken plenty of inspiration from original, as he tweaks his progressive sound, giving us bigger results. Evgeny’s mix has a melancholic feel with the addition of some extra synth sounds, and his top drawer production skills are ever present!
Finishing off the package is aXess, a newcomer to Neuroscience. aXess increases the BPM slightly for his remix, adding more drive to the overall feel of the track. aXess makes great use of the original parts in the breakdown, building up to drop back to a fat bass line!
