Twenty Nine tracks in a compilation – Not that unusual you're thinking, right? Well every track is in its full-length, unmixed state. This mammoth compilation is a selection of the most recent euphoric, uplifting trance stretching across 3 CDs.
If you're looking for techy or progressive you can stop reading this review now. This is pure uplifting, with a large selection of the tracks coming from the Anjunabeats and Armada domains. A few names in particular re-appear throughout the compilation as original artists and remixers, including Daniel Kandi, Above & Beyond, Aly & Fila, Nitrous Oxide, and DJ Shah. Personal favorite artists of my own, so I could guess that I'd enjoy this compilation.
The track selection contains energetic pieces ranging from the Maor Levi remix of Oceanlab - Sirens of the Sea, Daniel Kandi's Bangin' remix of Masters & Nickson - Out There (5th Dimension), and Aly & Fila - Lost Language into more laidback pieces that act as nice opportunities to catch your breath yet still retain some uplifting air to them, such as Mike Foyle - Pandora (The Blizzard Remix), Activa - End of Summer, and the incredible guitar tune by DJ Shah feat. Inger Hansen - Don't Wake Me Up (San Antonio Harbour Mix).
There are a few vocal tracks in the compilation but each is very well chosen. Airbase feat. Floria Ambra - Denial. The incredible vocals by Joanna in Dobenbeck - Please Don't Go (Greg Downey Remix), and a particular favorite of mine is the DJ Shah remix of For A Lifetime by Ascension.

Conclusion
If you're a fan of this style, this compilation is an easy way to get ahold of all of these tracks together, plus some extra you may not have heard (in full CD quality no less). Due to the CD's unmixed nature it's perfect for the DJs and full-length-mix hounds among us, but is challenging to listen to as a continuous album. There is a lot to keep you entertained though, and 4 hours of trance at an RRP of £13 is a steal. 5/5.
