The Swedish brotherhood First & Andre (a.k.a. Airbase & his brother Andre) first collaborated back in 2005, when they released the belgium edition of the Sensation White Anthem,Widescreen, in that same year.
Now this duo comes back in 2007 to release Cruiser including a ”Morphed” Remix.
Let’s start with the Director’s Cut first, since it is the original symphony that Andre composed. I really LOVE its feel, its ups and downs, and its sad emotions. Simply amazing to listen to (very good one also for a set intro).
Original Mix is a mix between Andre’s classical symphony and Jezper’s trance touches; the result is of course pure Magic. Who does not appreciate and enjoy JEzper’s basslines? Well this original has a killer strong bassline, with soft kicks though. Arps are really great, and very well composed, placed, and filtered. Pure uplifting, at its best.
But Alex M.O.R.P.H. seems not happy with pure emotions; he delivers Energy. Well, his remix is totally different. The breakdown includes the great symphony, but has a techy buildup, and techy touches. This remix is the highlight of the release for sure!
