After the huge success with his first solo release 'Monday Bar', Nic Chagall hits with an even bigger release!
"What You Need" has been roaming around for a while under the abbreviation WYN, and has been collecting positive feedback from all over the place, which it sure deserves!
First in the pack is the Original, which is an absolute work of art! Beautiful, beautiful beautiful electrical guitar riffs, drums, and sounds of clapping, all join in giving the rockish-concert atmosphere feeling. Then emerges the voice of 'Elliot Johns', totally captivating with its passionate soft harshness.. Captivation becomes even more intense when female vocal joins in and starts interacting with the male's. Lovely..
To the fans of harder stuff, the 2nd track on the release is the Hard Dub Reedit. Dark bouncy bubbly bassline, with some well placed vocals and 'sighs' along an alarming guitar melody. Breakdown features the Original melody, and the track builds up massivley back into a pool of techy elements. A total club hit!
Next! NC's Prog Mix a different approach with an even darker bassline. The track slowly but steadily builds up with the addition of different synths and slight low pitched melodies. Track slows down a bit before building up again with loud radiant melody with vocals at first and breaking it down at 7:02 minute!! Breath-taking!!
Last on the release is NC's Prelectric Mix which is all absolute electro!! Funky electric elements, high claps, and much use of vocals are present. The main melody is transformed into an electric, edged, twisted one, and vocals seem to gain more strength and sharpness. Different sounds of electrical guitar appear at the end wrapping this all up in a clubbish manner!
In conclusion, this is a release that shall appeal to everyone's taste, whether it was trance, hard trance, proggy, electro, or even alternative rock!
I am absolutely in love with it, the 4 remixes!!
