Frontline ~
Here you go another new vinyl to be released on a Flux Delux Records which has already got on its imprint other good old and new releases such as Futuristic, Skyline, and one of the most releases to be highlighted on its classic list ‘Tabla Mizma’, done by a great collaboration from Thomas Datt and Robert Nickson. A different style to be added on the Dutch label for now, The Frontline EP appreciatively released on August revives the new Uplifting/Tech style to be especially found on the A-side. Introducing: Surface To Air | Global System.
Again, reviving the usual Tech Trance style through involving pretty hard beats while warming up for the beautiful breakdown packed with sweet melodies and then by hitting us with a sudden bassline offered a perfect sensation, more by adding it to the new uplifting sense which completed a whole unique combination on the A-side of the vinyl. Several words could be said in order to describe both of the soft style used during the breathtaking breakdown, and the magnificent power of the complicated bassline -yet a bit of a typical one to be also easily founded in other good tunes-. However, still Surface To Air is being a powerful track, merging quality elements therefore to give the exact trance feeling to our ears. Deserves to be rated 9/10!
Switching to the AA-Side, softer synthesizers were used in Global System in order to –also- support the existence of gentle beats at the beginning yet turning out to be harder and swifter when reaching the long awaited bassline, where it is quite noticeable that melodies set at the background offered the track an original effect, dropping another great shape of trance music where emotions and power can be easily combined, and be perfectly done: a superb sound to be close of what was done in Surface To Air. A slight difference between both tracks which few listeners might be able to point their fingers at, however all I can be sure about is that 'Global System' is a less energizer tune, yet both Surface To Air & Global System contain superb materials, astonishing elements, and the quality music sound. Personal rating: 7.5/10.
Surely a recommended vinyl to all, already got a huge support from Armin Van Buuren. A must to listen to !
