Marco V ~ Arpanet | The Funk Battery


After his huge musical success last year , the talented Tech Trance Producer makes a new appearance again with two hits which were included in his recent album “ 200 V “ , full of energy and heat , and always ready to show you Marco V’s skills concerning Trance Music . Representing : Arpanet and Funk Battery.

Arpanet has to be the first tune to appear on this vinyl, distinguished by it’s swift percussion ; breaks seem to be the main engine of this tune , warning you from the beginning that a pure Techy bassline will be showing up , right after the nice massive beats , which is obviously the main element in Arpanet - furnishing us the exact Trance feeling , the one which Marco V was offering us back in 2005 .
I found the track a little bit appealing , although it included the typical energizing electro sound which is really recommended to be heard/played on the dancefloor .

Now switching to a different side , to some thing more Techy and groovy , The Funk Battery plays it’s funky role through offering you a heavier percussion , adding more swift breaks which build a huge complicated structure , more than the one found in Arpanet : breaks frequently go up and down alongside with a beautiful melody , in order to reach the low and INSANE bassline . However I must admit : breaks are pure killers ! And this is highly recommended for Tech Trance Lovers .

As for me , I find Funk Battery much better than Arpanet , even though both tracks are mainly based on a Tech Trance feeling , yet including more electro sound at the background in Arpanet , and heavier percussion in Funk Battery showed us what the real Tech Trance is with Marco V.

Big thanks for the 'detailed' review, Shy--Ism. I haven't checked this release yet. But by listening to the samples ... Arpanet is very electro-ish meets tech-house ... Marco V . Funk Battery is way more groovier. I'm loving this release!!

I'm off to go get it ^^ .

p.s: I'm kinda upset how no one's actually replying to the reviews with no comments, i mean ... at least show you participation and your views :S ... not just "marco v is god" :S .
