There's nothing quite like a good piano roll in Trance, is there? Actually there is: some good guitar notes. And this is precisely what the first version of the original mix is all about - a sweet, sweet guitar, and quite the energy level as well! Expect to hear some percussion too, they come by default with guitarish melodies anyway...

The second version of the original mix preserves the natural strings and adds some digital strings to them while at it. There's even a slight energy increase that I didn't mind at all!

Carl B for the remix, minimizing the use of guitar and maximising the use of synth, resulting in a pretty decent outcome, just not one as special as the originals.

04. slipstream__carl_b_peak_mix 07:39
His subsequent peak mix goes fully digital, stripping the guitar notes away to replace them with purely electronic sounds. Taken out of context, this would be worthy of a review in its own right. But given the uniqueness of the originals, this one is rather shadowed, though does sound better than his other remix.

Ah I was waiting for Someone to review this ! (Since I haven't had the time to do so) .... Summer Sessions ~ SLipstream was one of my Top 10 of the month since my first listen two weeks ago !
If there anything beautiful in the Original Version 1 was the guitar riffs along with the wicked bassline following with greta melodies . The Original Mix 2 had lower beats , and never swifter . But still really good especially that emotional breakdown , amazing amazing ! Very chilling tune, always keeping the sweetest guitar riffs .
The Carl B remix was the main energizer of the release , high pitched melodies with swifter beats and higher guitar notes ... and including the breakdown followed up with a the typical Carl B bassline pushed me to rate this 9.5/10 !
Carl B Peak mix can be considered as a remix of his main remix , by adding more waving elements in addition to lower but never faster beats , amazing I must say people , a mix where you can dream at when you're awake ! Beauty but Carl B's Remix still a top-notch !
