One of last month's biggest releases gets three new remixes for your aural delight!
First up is John O'Callaghan who opts to keep the vocals and gives the track his usual JoC treatment of solid beats and uplifting melodies. Not soaring high on the energy meter but a fair treat for the ears.
Next up is the Moonrush remix that, too, hands on to the vocals, and adds the dream effect to the original, with a soft beat and a transcending melody, on top of which the vocals don't sound so bad after all. Very good stuff here!
Last up is Sassot under his Broken Toys alias, delivering an interesting take on things, with a lot of electronic complexity in the structure and an intelligent use of strings. The breakdown brings forth an effected gutiar which reminded me of the original Beautiful Things, to which is added a few piano notes, followed but a return of the vocals, for the entire kaleidoscope to blast into sonorous artistry with the beat and that innovative bassline dropping back in your face. Sensational!
