Orright, gave it a listen.
The percussion reminded me of Tocadisco stuff. I dont think you need sidechaining since the bassline stops a few measures before the kicks.Though i have to say the frequency on the bassline collides a lot with the same frequency of other channels, try filtering it to different frequencies. Might make it sound a little easier and less ... buzzing. The synth at 0:55 reminds me of something ... nothing bad, but pretty good anyway. Though that 'alien wave' intro could go ... the after effect of it is fine.
Yeah...try using that stuff and then let us know what else we could try helpin you with
