ok... first i'm sorry it took me so long to download ur set Patrick but
having finally done so i can return to u with a feedback.
1- the track selection was very good. I'm not a fan of your style of music
but I do have my crush on progressive house and listen to it often.. well,
mood swings to be precise. but i really love Luke Chab, Unkle, and last
but not least PQM! ah love their tune ''You Are Sleeping''.. got it on
single, got it from Deep Dish Toronto, and now here it is again... some
funny vocals, beautiful melodies... I also enjoyed the blend from your intro
to the 2nd tune in the playlist.. smooth, soft.. sexy... like it. ur intro is also
nice though i would have liked it better with a bit of more elements: it's
minimal which is good (i liked its build-up alot, cutting the bass dead) but
i would've enjoyed a more colourful structure.
2- as for the design. well, nothing much i can say: system.s is minimal
that's what the design stood for. and i found it good, suits the type of
music u delivered.
3- mixing was excellent, and as i already mentioned: smooth and soft.
dustless... can't really find anything negative in ur mixing/beatmatching
skills.
4- the scale didn't work it for me. it's a good idea, but it applies for u and
varies individually depending on everybody's mood/style. so it didn't do
it for me, not for a first time at least.
good job and congrats mate! very neat and well done...
looking forward to more sets from u (literally)
cheerio!
If your trance was a pretty blonde ballerina; then what I listen to is a peed-off bulky bouncer pounding the living shit out of your ballerina.
