make a demo cd that says what style do u mix, never less than 30 mins.
and go to whatever trance club u can find, walk in and hand the CD to the
manager or the promoter and don't rely on them to call u..it doesn't
always work..try to be in touch with them rapidly.
also, contact trance online radios and submit recorded sets for urself.
radios like
www.di.fm r in a continous search for talent and gigs.
another thing: throw parties! u don't need to DJ in a club...make ur own
party. there must be some shithead listening to ur set and he'd have his
connections..aaaahhhh..long way! do it for the love of DJing..and try
always to have special touch..i mean...don't play crap records that u can
find anywhere and everybody plays it.. 'rarity'!! very important and of
course..ur skills...play sets that says ur name, not immetating somebody's
style.. if u'll play things like PvD or Tiesto or whatever..then that's not
unique...also collaborate with producers that r still on the begining of their
way..(if u don't produce urself) having a record in ur set that nobody
knows is more than awesome..speciality!!those ppl r scattered in forums
like this..buy the record and spin it urself.. i'm collaborating atm with a
producer that i never saw her face..lol..i buy from her online and she
doesn't even live in UK..

..u have to make ur sound special 1st..and
then (though u might not belive this) gigs will come to u...play at ppl's
parties..leave a contact number everywhere: friends, work, univeristy...
one last thing: FESTIVALS AND PARADES!! i'm sure there's plenty of those
and auditions welcome eveybody...
but note: if u had a free gig..or any set not gt paid for..don't refuse it! go
for it!..later when they know how good u r, they'll pay u
good luck m8!!
