Milan managed to get a fair result from the trip to lyon last week .. as you all know it ended with a goaless draw ... now we need to score in san siro to qualify to the semi-finals .. i think milan are capable of passing lyon easily .. but nothing is garunteed in this odd world of football ..

anyways it's gonna be an entertaining match, since both teams need to score .. and both teams have one of the strongest offense line in Europe ...

Well my perception shifts towards LYON. Nonetheless the two teams are looking forward to steal one of the 4 tickets to the semi finals. I think the game will have too many fouls and shots on the goal from outside the square because both teams have very tough defence structure which will be hard to pass through. Time will pick up the winner in the end.

lyon is a very talented team and with them u can expect all suprises like the 7-2 win over Bremen last season !!
I think milan will have difficluties in this match !
my expectation : 1-1 or a 2-1 win for milan ! a goal from Kaka at the end of the game !

Although I had high hopes in Lyon, I'm sort of relieved they didn't make it to the semi-finals, and I have pretty valid reasons for that. I only managed to watch the first half, and switched over to the Villareal- Inter game during the second. Verdict: Lyon dominated the first 45 minutes of the game! Although the likes of Juninho were rather dormant at the time, Cris, Fred, and Clerc compensated rather well.

As for Villareal, well what can I say? What a second half! It was the Argentine players' game tonight (Got Riquelme??), and a well-deserved win. I was stunned by Adriano's downplayed performance. And Sorin's elbowed face was a total ouuucchh! Big ups to Inter's goalie, whose name I can't seem to remember. A couple of his saves were momentous!

Let us all be civil here and take the time to wish Juve (boy will they need it without Del Piero and a stronghold Camoranesi, but Nedved's a toughie), Arsenal, Barca, and Benfica luck for tomorrow evening's games....

...I'm going to fail my midterms because of the CL. Haha- FUN times ....

I don't see Juventurs recovering. Near impossible. If they do, it's because of the beauty of the unpredictability of the Champions League.

Assuming Arsenal go through, Villareal v Arsenal is going to be a mind-blowing match of slick, short, and fast passing. Beautiful match.
