^ He was gold by never mounting Liverpool to a serious challenge for the premier league trophy (except for last year) in six years, but he's beaten Fergie a good few times - he's a good record against him. Good riddance because Liverpool deserve to be better managed and treated than Benitez and the Yanks did. Yes I am a Red Devil through and through, but Liverpool is a club that deserves to be highly regarded. It's a shame that England's most decorated club was dragged to where Benitez and The Yanks dragged it - debt, poor form, champions league flop, so much dead wood in the squad... they had a joke of a season.
