Confused referee booked Fabio instead of Rafael

LOOOOOL i thought about this recently, that maybe UTD can play a suspended player instead of the other. And a similar incident happened, Fabio was booked instead of Rafael Da Silva .....




During the fourth round League Cup clash between Manchester United and Barnsley, a 2-0 win for the former, identical twins Fabio and Rafael confused referee Chris Foy to the extent that he incorrectly booked the wrong brother.

Sir Alex Ferguson noticed the blunder at the time, and it is a caution that the cup holders are to contest, as it was Rafael who should have been shown a yellow card - not Fabio.

Regarding their intentions to have the decision reversed, a Manchester United spokesperson confirmed that: "We are in discussions with the FA over this matter.

"We have pointed out that the referee made a mistake on the night and we obviously want it to be corrected.

"We will be asking for further advice on how best to rectify the situation."

Anyway... the funny thing here is that they look for advice on how best to rectify this. What the hell?? Why do people have to complicate things when it is so simple! Simply unbook Fabio and book Rafael! *slaps forehead*
