If Chelsea win today (and they most certainly will) then it's curtains down for the Devils' title quest this year... UNLESS Fergie dips into the market in January and doesn't drop more than 6 points until the end of the season which (considering the makeshift in the back four) is never going to happen.

The league this year is extremely tough; anyone can beat anybody which makes it an amazing league to watch (albeit, my bookie is no friend of mine anymore.. lol ) If Wigan and Aston Villa can beat Chelsea, Fulham and Burnley can beat United, and Man City can break the record for draws before the half mark of the season; then I don't know what more drama and events can the Premier League cough out by May 2010.

Whomever the champion is on the morning of May 10th; that team have gone through a hell of a lot of ups and downs to get there and will truly deserve it.

Surprise, surprise! Chelsea drew!

If Utd end up winning the prem, Chelsea will be pretty upset about those lost couple of weeks that passed, where United lost, but Chelsea failed to really take advantage

Berbatov is public enemy number 1, so no arguments there... am on your side.

But Valencia? Valencia is great... I'm very happy with him.

Actually, Aquilani was more expensive than Valencia, by 1M pounds!

And, like Gen, no arguments for Berbatov... he looks like a world beater on his day, but way too inconsistent, and he goes missing when the games get tough..

But anyway, this brings to my attention an interesting point, namely that prices in football are no longer the same. Maybe we're used to watching and following football from a while back, so we're still used to "old" prices. The sharp rise of money in football has quickly risen but we haven't noticed it.

A few years back, we would be laughing at the suggestion that Valencia would cost 16M pounds, or that Benzema would cost 41M euros... But it's different now... prices have risen, and if clubs want to get good players, they have to pay the big bucks. With the Chelseas, Man Citys and Real Madrids, don't expect the prices to come down any time soon

all games in the Northwest of England were postponed due to horrible weather conditions. The field is safe because of under grass heating,but police everywhere deemed it unsafe for supporters to travel. Thats why Man City vs Trafford Utd Carling Cup leg was postponed as well. Now its on Jan 19th.
