Arsene Wenger has rejected a €45 million offer from Real Madrid and will pledge the remainder of his managerial existence to Arsenal, claims the News of the World.

Florentino Perez, heir presumptive to the Bernabeu throne, has had his eye on the French tactician ever since re-entering the frame for the club presidency.

Wenger had been touted as a candidate for the Blancos hot-seat even before then, as former supremo Ramon Calderon supposedly had him pegged to replace Juande Ramos at season's end.

But not even Perez's promise of a five-year, €9m-per-season package and free reign in the transfer market - not to mention a guaranteed post-coaching role as sporting director - has managed to sway the Gunners boss.

And now, it is understood that Wenger - whose current contract has just over two years to run - is ready to ink a new deal that will keep him at the Emirates until 2014.

Real Madrid centre-back Fabio Cannavaro will fly out to Italy this evening and is expected to undergo routine medical tests tomorrow, before finalizing his move to Juventus, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport

Screw Ranieri and his nice dude attitude. Bring in Gasperini...or Conte...or Ferrara...in matter of fact bring in anyone, just get rid of Ranieri and the idiotic Juventus management.

I also remembered a moment ago that Bayern was even ready to buy youngsters although they were always against this. And Wenger still refused :mrgreen:

Wenger would be crazy to leave Arsenal, he's been building the team since ages. I am not even an Arsenal fan, and i would go crazy if Wenger ever leaves the Gunners. Anyway, as for Juventus, i am def expecting a strong reaction from John Elkan, towards the management and the coach. If not, the crowd will def react in a stronger way, and expect a revolution this summer, if changes are not made. The money is there, we just need a coach who has a winning mentality and who knows how to handle the money on the transfer market! All the transfers were flops, expect for Amauri. It really tears me up, since it's Nedved's last season, and we didn't win any silverware and even might end up 3rd!
