all of you complain and hope for a football where everhyone is transfered for mitehn lira and everyone earns peanuts. unfortunately for all of you, the sport you love, GENERATES BILLIONS. its passionate for a fan, its passionate for players, but for people sitting above, for people negotiating multi billion $$$ TV rights its nothing but a cold business: one you pump money in, to make money. People might think Sheikh Mansour was nuts offering Kaka 100million$--NO PLAYER is even worth a 10th of that. but from a business standpoint, the fans it would've brought, the shirt sales, the TV time allocated to man city as well as extra cash from heading into Europe would've made that back in no time (anyway whats a 100mil for a guy who's worth is $15billion?).
Football is where it is, and NOTHING will change that unless eveyrone one of us stops watching, stops buying jerseys, stops supporting teams. Get over it---u live in a

ing 21st century capitalist rollercoaster where Russians buy wives $3million earrings, and Arab princesses switch superyachts for super Airbuses coz "its faster".
I'm a proud Man City fan since 1994 (when they were division NOTHING and lost all the time) and i'm still a proud fan regardless who owns us. I would've smiled if Kaka joined, but I'm not sad because I knew he wouldn't. but EVERYONE has his price, at one point in time. Man City need to get up in the top 5 and then watch them ALL come (he didnt come because he woudlnt have Europe next year, and wouldnt have international football).
@ trancefusion: Abrahmovic is FAR from broke. 2years ago, he sold ALL his businesses except for Chelsea football club and his real estate in London and Moscow as well as a couple of art galleries. He's far from in trouble and has no plans to sell Chelsea--its probably the only thing he's making money on today.
U guys should stop watching football or realize that "The People's Sport" now belongs to Visa, Coca Cola, McDonalds and YOUR SOULS!
edit: much respect to Kaka for turning down $750k a week and for Milan to turn down $147mil when they are in debt themselves. let's see if he'll do that in 3yrs when he's slightly over the hill and won everything he can with Milan!

COME ON CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
