For me it's Zidane. For the simple reason that his skills, his vision of the game, his experience, his influence on the pitch and outside, etc... are all outstanding. Take also into consideration that at the time of Pele it was bloody easy to score 10 goals in one game, now you see those scores only once every 3 years (?) and in weak leagues. The defences at the time of Pele weren't like steel wall. In the following decades the game has evolved a lot and now it's much harder than in the 60s!
Examples: in England they run all the time, the physical contact isn't seen anywhere else. In Italy the defence line is called "Catenaccio" (or somethin like that, remind me rob!

) which means that you can't penetrate them. In France there are foreign players who can't show their potentials cuz they can't get used to the tactics. Finally in Spain it's the freestyle game
