AC Milan bought Ronaldo during the winter transfer window who scored 2 goals in the latest victory 4-3 at Siena. The Italian side hasn't scored this amount of goals since April 2006. But he won't play in the CL because he already played games in this tournament with Real Madrid. So maybe the Rossoneri are back? In Serie A they won 6 out of the last 7 games. As for Celtic, they are dominating the SPL with 19 points ahead of Rangers! They have the best attack and the best defence. But it's never easy to win a game in Scotland. France on the international level and Manchester United (on the 21st of November) lost there. It will be a game full of intensity!
19:45 Lille - Manchester Utd
Lille was in a good shape in the first half of the season. But after the winter vacation ended their performance somehow decreased. They won only 2 out of the 6 games after the vacation. They were very close to beating Lyon this weekend but mistakes are very costly. Manchester United, as we all know, is "having fun" in the EPL with 6 points ahead of Chelsea, 16 ahead of Liverpool and 17 ahead of Arsenal. But the Champions League is always full of surprises like last season with Villarreal.
19:45 PSV - Arsenal
Arsenal's "Young Guns" have been doing very well in the Carling Cup reaching the final against Chelsea (this coming weekend) and in the FA Cup. But they are unlucky with playing 2nd games in those cups (if there's a draw, the game is repeated on the field of the other team: tradition of English cups). So they might be reaching their fatigue limits. Van Persie is still out after his injury against Manchester United. Eboue and Hoyte are injured too. PSV is the leader of the Dutch league with 5 points ahead of Ajax and 6 ahead of AZ Alkmaar. They have the best attack and the best defence.
19:45 Real - Bayern Munich
Now I'm still very doubtful about this game. Will it be a game worth calling "The Clash Of The Titans" or a game worth labeling "The Flop Of The Season"? Real Madrid is still under construction with its new manager Capello. I hope he will stay because he needs time. It seems that the Merengues are playing a little bit better but their offensive power is dead currently. Their results in La Liga are very irregular and fans are very disappointed. Bayern Munich isn't have a season like the ones we are used to see. They won the first 3 games of the first CL round and drew the last 3. In the Bundesliga they are 4th with now 12 points behind Schalke 04, 7 behind Stuttgart and 5 behind Werder. They won only 3 out of the last 8 games and their previous manager Felix Magath was sacked and replaced by the one before him, Ottmar Hitzfeld.
