well no1 denies that italy deserved 2 win this game & go 2 the final...the 1st half of this game was very balanced with both teams fightin 2 ctrl the ball in the midfield which didnt create 2 many occasions except when schneider had the ball in front of the goal with only the keeper 2 beat but he put it wide & missed a huge chance 2 give his team an important lead...italy was unbelievably solid & totally neutralized miroslav klose who had his most disappointing game of this world cup...italy had an occasion 2 but lehmann managed 2 ctrl the ball in front of grosso...the 2nd half was more in the advantage of the german who attacked more the italian goal without 2 much danger though...ballack like many superstars in this mondial like ronaldinho & lampard was again very deceiving...but his teammate sebastian kehl was a very gd replacement 4 torsten frings...gd choice 2 from klinsmann 2 start with borowski & then substituting him with schwerinsteiger who didnt 2 much balls though(the main goal of this substitution was bringing some activity on the side in a critical moment of the game)...the game ended in its regular time on a score of 0-0...the italians attacked the german goal in the 1st period of extra-time & hit the post twice in 2min...i guess its because they knew that penalties were in the favor of the german who r the best ppl in this type of exercise...then the tempo went a lil bit down with game bein again taken 2 the midfield...this half witnessed 1 last header by podolski that went wide from buffon's goal...2nd period started where the 1st 1 ended:in the midfield...the germans had a huge occasion 2 score with podolski again but buffon did a fantastic save...game was headin 2 penalties,both managers started 2 plan 4 this by enterin neuville 4 germany & del piero 4 italy(he entered 4 perrota who doesnt take penalties)...lehmann saved his goal another time & conceded a corner that turned out 2 be fatal...pirlo received the ball & dished it 2 grosso who scored the goal of his life(& what a goal it was)...the german attacked but cannavaro(the man of the match imo) took the ball & allowed a counter-attack where gilardino did a huge job & delivered it 2 del piero who crushed the german hopes...

again italy deserved 2 win...they had ctrl of the midfield with pirlo & gattuso(who neutralised perfectly ballack) & their defense was again flawless...as 4 germany i was very deceived with philip lahm's per4mance...this guy started in a very energetic way in this world cup but then lost his tempo & he was far from givin his best against argentina & italy...& as i said b4 ballack was a huge disappointment & didnt bring much 2 his team...the 2 coaches did their job...klinsmann tried with the game advancin 2 put some activity on the sides with schweinsteiger & odonkor(but this time it didnt work really well)...as 4 lippi he did a very nice move by enterin iaquinta who did a very nice job...gilardino did in a few minutes much more than toni in a big part of the game...del piero was supposed 2 be 1 of the kickers in the shootout & he ended up scorin the K-O goal...italy did its best game of this world cup & proved that they r still a big name on the intl level...hopefully this gd per4mance will erase some of the schock done in the calcio these last few weeks...as 4 germany hard luck...they failed really close 2 the goal but showed that they have a very nice generation that is gonna take over in a few years & that will be really succesful...1 last word abt the referee...gr8 job...ctrled the game & was very fair on all the actions...

2nite france-portugal in a very tricky game between 2 teams that play the same way...a 4-2-3-1 that worked really well 4 the squads so far...no1 can know the outcome of this gamethat will be a real battle in all the aspects

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey ! on est en finale ! history is repeating itself, portugal eliminated in the semi final on a penalty kick by zizou and we r facing italy in the final (doesnt that remind u of smth ) ! portugal's performance was awesome especially in the 2nd half when they managed to get many shots on goal and create many dangerous situations but Thuram and Sagnol along with the other Defenders and DMC played their best game so far ! C.Ronaldo was the only danger from the portuguese side i must admit hes one hell of a player despite his character ! Allez Les Bleus ! Last stage: Italy ! btw i should mention there that Fabio Cannavaro is the best defender in this world cup !
