after an awful football day the night before yday (Swiss/Ukraine debacle), yesterday was EXCELLENT!. Brazil vs. Ghana: The Ghanaians did Africa proud. Not only did they make it to the 1/8 finals in their first ever Finals, but they played a solid 1st half against Brazil--true footy fans will know that they dominated in every single category (possession, passes, passing accuracy, etc). Unfortunately the only category that matters is score and Brazil dominated that. The Ronaldo goal was classic and the 2nd goal was completely unfair bullshit! The only thing ruining these otherwise perfect WC finals is the refereeing. That 2nd offside of a goal took the life and spirit out of Ghana but they still fought on. Congrats to Brazil for beating the offside trap on numerous occasions--and how about that Ghana goalie making sure the scoreline wasn't 5-0?

France: I'm STUNNED!!! "Back from the dead just to mess with yo' head". I can't believe how they woke up and frankly I was very happy for them. Would've hated for Zizou's career to end in a loss after playing badly for quite some time. Well his goal in injury time proved his worth and that he stil has it!! I expect a GREAT match vs. Brazil and France's experience and style of play will definitely give Brazil more problems than Spain would have. Look forward to it.
