With all due respect, very few people would've ever imagined that Team America would pose a threat on the Azzuris the way that they did, and so relentlessly, last night.
Last night's match was killer. And with just NINE men on the field, I think the Americans endured and achieved a buttload. Maaad props to that.
Man of the match? DeMarcus Beasley. Why so? He proved doubters of America's initiatives throughout the match VERY wrong. The guy was just all over the place and along with Donovan and McBride, took the team to new heights. He played up, moved forward, and he took his team with him.
I'm a Czech supporter, but let's be honest here, Ghana displayed some exemplary gameplay. I was disappointed, and Ghana's defense drove me absolutely NUTS, but whatever the better team deserved its win. Peter Cech <-- this guy's a hero
