YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! My mother country did us proud!! Showing the germans resolve all the way til the end (NEVER SAY NEVER), the Polish team finally succumbed to the 'blitzkrieg' of German chances with a wonderful 91st minute goal by that oh-so-German Oliver Neuville! Klinsmann critics need to shut the ffffffff up after his amazing substitutions were completely responsible for the goal. The Poles played inspired and their keeper gets MAD RESPECT from me for keeping me frustrated as hell for 90minutes.

I'm happy some big improvements happened over the Costa Rica game, namely in defense. Lahm and Mertesacker played very well and didn't give the Polish team any real chances.
Best of luck to my Brit fans tonight against T&T.

Brazil - Croatia
very good performance by the croatians (their supporters were singin and screaming at the end of the game even tho they lost) ! average performance by Brazil ! but still it s the first match so stop critisizing !! and for all of you who said that ronaldo need to get on diet : he's one of the most fastest forward (if he's not the fastest) and he has the best finishing ! the "carre magique" (ronaldhino - kaka - Adriano - Ronaldo) was not "magique" but Kaka and ronaldhino played well (ronaldhino ws taken by 3 defenders) ! and robhino did a good job !
Germany - Poland
i must say that poland are very courageous !!! but they couldnt handle all the attacks of the germans ! Odonkor (speedy gonzalez) did a fabolous job offering Neuville the goal !!! this time germany's defence was better buyt they didn t have a great job to do !
Spain - ukraine
ouff ! une entree "fracassante" des espagnols !! strong defence - strong midfield - great finishnig - amazing teamwork (the 4th goal is the best)!! all the spanish played well !! but the referee ? the ukranian defender didnt even touched Torres !! it was pure simulation !! they dominated the game from the beginnig till the end !
Saudi Arabia - Tunisia
it was a good and exiting game !! equilibrated ! both team played well !!! saudi arabia surprised me ! i thaught that they were gona loose easily coz tunisia is a strong team but they played well and they even were gonna win the game ! but they goal at 92min by Jaidi offered the egalization for tunisia ! but still i dont think that one of these team are gonna qualify ! i think it s gonna be Spain and Ukraine but u dont know (nothing is impossible and ukraine has an average goal of -4)
France - Sweiss
boring match ! sweiss played better 10x better than france !! the french game is very slow and it's very anoying to watch ! Sweiss could have scored twice ! once the ball hit the post and the second time Frei's stupid mistake (he tried to score with his hand) deprived the swiss to score (coz there was a swiss played just behind him ! all he had to do was touch the ball to score)

After watching today's match between Ecuador and Costa Rica I believe Ecuador is going to surprise many of us. Their short passes and inside goals look very similar to brazilian football. Add to it one hell of a defense wall that rendered Wanchope useless. One thing for sure the match between Germany & Ecuador is going to be full of suspense and surprises. Which defense will prevail? Will the outside shooting of Germany beat the inside ones of Ecuador? If Germany loses or draws against Ecuador they will have to face England in the next round. Mondial is getting exciting day after day
