Wahahaha at the 1st video!
Bronko, you do remember when Schumacher knocked Patrick Battiston in the 1982 world cup semi-final, don't you?? Battiston lost conscience and 2 teeth in the process. Cool thing is that Schumacher then apologized on TeleFoot and wished Battiston a Merry Christmas.
For me it's the same question as: Who is the greatest player to have ever lived? Answer is: Every era had its own characteristics. What was working 40 or 50 years ago does not work anymore. But I can make a personal ranking and it goes like:
1-Gigi Buffon (Absolute legend and pure class)
2-Gordon Banks (Greatest English keeper and made a historic save on Pele in 1970)
3-Peter Schmeicel (Greatest keeper to put the Man Utd jersey)
4-Lev Yachine (They called him black widow)
5-Sepp Maier (The best German keeper ever)
6-Dino Zoff (Won a world cup at the age of 40)
7-Michel Preud'homme (An excellent Belgian goalie)
8-Joel Bats (outclasses every French goalie, could be out throned by Lloris soon)
9-Rinat Dassaev
10-Angelo Perruzi (Bianconeri legend)
Soon to crack the top 10: Iker Casillas, Hugo Lloris, Steve Mandanda, Sebastien Frey, Petr Cech, Edwin Van Der Saar, etc...
