Were owned (25%) by Red and White holdings (semi-owned by some russian dude), (16%) by a south african belgian/white/jewish diamond dealer, and Nina Bracewell-smith a business woman who owns like half of india (16%). Proper old skool stuff!

But if R&W make it to 30% then they are bound to do a formal takeover bid, so were safe until then I guess.

Cube, I know, they're history is not big, but its decent, since they won the league and FA cup several times + europe. What im saying is, currently if any major Sheikh's group wants to take over any PL side, it shouldnt be a surprise, since all PL clubs have a huge history, fanbase + are in the biggest league in the world.

NS, i was against Florentino Perez' strategy (buying the best and achieving almost nothing) and i was impatiently waiting for the day when he quit. Now he wants to come back and again buy the best (Kaka among others). It looks like the fucker didn't learn anything from his mistake! RM, like any other sports club, needs to achieve its objectives by winning games. Then money comes, on 2nd position of the priority list! RM can be a powerful team if it has solid foundations in defence, a kickass midfield and quick-and-powerful strikers. Real has a weak defence (highways yesterday were opened!), weak midfield and slow strikers. Why didn't Huntelaar play at least?!?!
I support RM for various reasons, but definitely not for its strategy (which is not applied anymore, for now at least).

Alain, now it's left to 2 teams in France

Marseille and Bordeaux. AT LAST NO LYON!! :lol:

it reminds me of 1998-1999 when Bordeaux won the league at 89th minute of the last game of the season :cry:

Kamil, Real Madrid's greatest victories came under Perez. His policies were a little bit crazy, but they definitely worked out fine.

He set a bad example, but an example that functioned in the Spanish capital.

Btw I rate the 1999 French Championship as my 3rd greatest football moment. I still remember how Bordeaux stole it from Marseille thanks to an 18-year old kid called Pascal Feindouno. Memories :mrgreen:
