Benny Benassi was born in Milan on 13 July 1967.
He lives in Reggio Emilia, a fine Italian town about 100km south of Milan, where the food is great and the Dance Music is even better.
He works as a producer in collaboration with his cousin Alle Benassi, who has been a musician and arranger at Off Limits, the internationally successful production unit run by Larry Pignagnoli.
After producing KMC feat Dhany (NÂ° 1 club charts UK), the Benassi cousins started work on the BENNY BENASSI presents THE BIZ project, a ground-breaking mixtured of electro, techno and house dosed with minimalist flair.

The first single SATISFACTION made its presence felt in the main charts all over Europe. Here are some of the results:
- over a month in the nÂ° 1 spot in the Official Dance Chart in FRANCE
- top twenty Official Singles Sales Chart in FRANCE
- nÂ° 2 in the Official Dance Chart in GERMANY
- top forty Official Singles Sales Chart in GERMANY
The album HYPNOTICA was the top 20 in the Official Album Sales Chart in FRANCE for over a month, having reached the TOP 5.
The single SATISFACTION released on DATA/ MINISTRY OF SOUND in UK , straight in at nÂ° 2 UK Singles Sales Chart.

I WANA B UR ILLUSION....LOVE DAT SONG, n hit my heart is also nice, btw who's track the one were they say IF URE GOIN TO SAn fransisco make sure to bring some flowers in ur hand....i think its called golbal djs!~!! n e ways it sounds alot like benyy, n if it isnt then WHOEVER IT IS THEYRE IMITATING HIM...u know his style ....I THINK
