Biography

Wardt van der Harst (a.k.a. Re-Ward) was born on December 26th in 1988, in a small village called ''Dongen''.

His passion for music started with finding an oldskool turntable of his grandpa, at the attic. He played some old Bert and Ernie records when he was 11, and found out, that beïng in control of the music, was an awesome thing to do.

Then he bought all his stuff together, and started producing with some basic tracker software. After a few years, he discovered the software called ''Fruityloops'' and he produced his first release at the age of 16 (Trail Of Tears). It was released on the German recordcompany Dark Noize Recordings.

From that on, things grew more and more. He switched from Fruityloops to Reason 3, which he still uses. He had some more releases, like Parzival and his remix of Sonika's Hypertension (which was played @ ASOT). But things became really serious, when Black Hole Recordings signed a new EP from Wardt, called Ensure/Exposé. It got support from major jocks like, ofcourse, labelowner Tiësto.

His collaboration with Willem van Hanegem (W&W - Mustang), resulted in a massive floorfiller, which will be released on Armada's Captivating Sounds. It has already been played by Armin van Buuren, Tiësto and Markus Schulz.

He also signed a new EP to Spinnin' Records, which is called Wardt - Show My Shuffle / Extentions.

Nowadays, Wardt’s records are played by dj’s like Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Menno de Jong, Eddie Halliwell, Sander van Doorn, Cosmic Gate and many many more..

So keep your eyes fixed on this kid, cause we can expect a lot of him, in the near future!

I do but there are other synonyms for this word. I can pin point to you the number of artist websites that have used the same structure for the artist bio and the same word passion. It's everywhere....

i can't imagine people using these words:
fervor, ardor, infatuation... (so complicated, and rare to see them used...and not all pple can understand them (im one of them..i just discovered these ones) )

Obsession, or Excitement are good words..but still, PAssion has the exact meaning !
