Majd Melhem Barakat a.k.a. DJ Maximal was born in 1980, but music has been running through his veins from even earlier than that. Hailing from a musical family par exellence with a rich heritage, it was only natural for Majd to develop a musical ear early on his childhood. His passion for rhythmic sounds was first expressed through him playing the drums, a musician's instrument for unfolding his musical talent. But it was only when he discovered electronic music that he truly saw the light, and that happened at the tender age of 17. Listening alone wasn't enough for this natural born musician though, and so the natural next step was getting behind those decks. Thus, Majd the drummer was put to sleep, and DJ Maximal was born. And ever since then, Maximal has been exporting his sound from depth of his mind and heart to Lebanon's hottest venues and clubs, with an evergrowing fanbase and a name resonating more and more among clubbers with each performance of his.
