Turkishman Engin Ogutveren was born on the 13th of October in 1988 in Melbourne, Australia. From a very young age, he had developed a passion for electronic music. From this, his deep infatuation with DJ-ing developed. From an age as early as eight, Engin had learnt to play the guitar, and as music took its course in his life, the keyboard also became a major interest.
After hearing the works of J & R project, Da Hool and Ayla, trance left a deep impression on Engin’s choice in dance music, after which he took a great interest into Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto and Cosmic gate.
After a serious knee injury, Engin took time off his sporting lifestyle, and took a great interest in producing his own music. Furthermore, he has risen from his bedroom, and is aiming to wake up the Australian Trance and Progressive scene. Since the age of fourteen he has pushed himself through. In the meantime he is focused on his studies and in between is working feverishly on several progressive and trance follow ups. Engin's main influences are Ferry Corsten, Airwave (Lolo), M.I.K.E. (Push), Nu NRG, Markus Schulz, Ozgur Can.
As Far as Engin's productions are concerned, his work has always been filled with great effort! He currently produces under 2 alias, each signed with different record labels.
1) Stargazer, which is where his progressive productions will be produced under. Stargazer's productions include Yildizlara and Daybreak. This alias is signed with Jon O' Bir's very own record label, Conspiracy Recordings, where other great artists such as Activa, Peter Dafnous, Basic Perspective.
2) Majera, is Engin's second alias, which focuses more on trance. So far, everyone has seen this very alias appear under a remix of one of the very well known tracks released this year: Zehavi & Rand - Paroxetine. The Majera remix was released on the second part of the CD. This isn't really the last to be heared from Majera's though. And as Ferry Corsten would say in one of his tracks: "You better watch out!". Majera is signed with Deep Blue Recordings; a label run by Solar Stone themselves.
