just wanted to share something (after a 5 mins search on the net):

House music and the new century
As of 2003, a new generation of DJs and promoters, including James Zabiela and Mylo, were emerging, determined to kickstart a more underground scene and there were signs of a renaissance in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit and other racially-mixed cities, as well as in Canada, Scandinavia, Scotland and Germany. For example, in 2004 the Montreal club Stereo celebrated its sixth year in operation. Stereo, opened in 1998, was modeled after the seminal New York City club Paradise Garage, focusing the experience on the quality of sound and lighting. The key to house music was re-invention. A willingness to steal or develop new styles and a low cost of entry encouraged innovation. The development of computers and the Internet play a critical role in this innovation. One need only to examine how house music has evolved over time to evaluate the effect computers and the Internet have had on house music and music in general.

GUYS read and stop this issue about underground this and that....underground in mind

the story of lebanese underground scene 80% of i6

couple of parties use to happen in 93 to 95... u were all 10 to 13 back then some 7:)

in 95 queens from paris did a party here

promoters named ZALPRO, POSITIVE VIBRATITION and some other use to promote

positive viberation got the 1st international dj to leb in the beginning of 96 SASH!!

it was massive we didnt have this crap that we have today coz it was new and virgin thing

till 99 -they promoted they got stop due to many reasons

other promoters came and left as well

the scene was gr8 in lebanon they all messed it coz some promoters wanted to take it back underground which was a big shame

so STOP THIS AND WAKE UP work on ur local scene and make it better so that every DJ in lebanon would be respected...what you are doing in this post would not lead u anywhere

to all the guys who want to be underground stay underground stop posting here coz this is not an underground place u want to stay under ground u cant promote urselves on flyers u want to stay underground u cant advertise underground means to stay in closed places
and to all the guys who are against the ground just say okay coz this wont lead us anywhere
