Micky Noise started making music since he was 14. His first music influences were from the breakbeat and electro music genres. At 1994 he started making his first 20-minutes live shows to different trance parties in Athens and in 1995 he founded Psycho Meditation.Micky as a restless spirit is burning with a continuous flame to make one's job better. At 1998 Micky founds himself in Thessaloniki where he met Uriel and immediately the two partners "clicked" together and decided to make something really good about the music they both loved. Thus Wizzy Noise sprang to life. Currently Micky studies the psychoacoustic impact of music to the human psyche and influences include Electro and industrial music.
Uriel is tumultuous like the sea and shining like the sun drenching a Greek island's coast. Many things can be said about this problematic yet shining individual whose greatest pleasure in life is music auditioning through high end (and probably quite expensive *sigh*) studio monitor speakers and the endless quest to do one's job better. Uriel after putting aside a career as a computer programmer and system's analyst he decided to follow something more suitable to his boemic and artistic nature like trance music creation and production.Having passed from Metal to Industrial music genres and after listening to several albums and compilations back in the good old days as we might say of 1995 he finally found the exact kind of feeling in music that he was looking for.
Wizzy Noise explain: "We felt as if we were in some sort of open university thing ! There were no fixed classes, no fixed schedule of work, not even some sort of lab to work in. Through the passage of music study, research and production work we were finally able to achieve a certain level of confidence with our gear and music production techniques, now after 5 years we feel a certain level of confidence about our work".Wizzy Noise music is defined as "refined underground electronica", a parallel branch of trance music which continually evolves and blends many different kinds of underground styles of music. This is done always with a sense of brooding mystery, the so called "wizzy feeling".Indeed modern trance music should be characterized not only the trip to one's individual nirvana or unique elevated state of consciousness, but also a trip to your esoteric world the nether realms, for one must understand the darkness...
Wizzy Noise began their formation as a band and functioning unit back in the good old days of 1999 barely one year before the coming of the new millenium. After the first successful merging of mind and spirit their workimmediately stood out from the squalor of the back then practically non-existing Greek dance production scene. Diaphragm assaulting basslines , cutting edge grooves combined with a sense of deep trippy and dark feeling echoing into eternity made immediately a bang on the global dance scene. Having released a track after another to another astounding majority of dance trance music labels, Candyflip records, Flying Rhino records. Spun records, 3D Vision records, Spirit Zone Records, Atomic Records, Solstice Records. Wizzy Noise always prove their ultimate superiority and professionalism to the global trance scene as they never stop to put a blasting track after another doing it in a way that they are only capable of:to be on the cutting edge of music composition and production. Music that is always danceable and never tiring to the audience. Never following but always setting new standards. Wizzy Noise have also an extensive discography putting out one album every year to ZMA records, Candyflip (2 consecutive albums), Spun Records (one album) and now for their 5th album will be a 2 piece set releasing sort of 6 months one after the other in Exposure records in partnership with Harmonia records which are both again Greek Labels.During the past years Wizzy Noise exhibited a very strong global presence playing in : Israel, Sweden, Norway, Mexico, Brazil , New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland/Oregon, Athens/Greece, Japan, France, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Australia Germany, Serbia, Slovenia, Russia always blasting more and more and more. Wizzy Noise continue to groove and weave their intricate pattern of aural pleasure charming their audience again and again.
