[align=justify]Pedro Del Mar belongs to the key people in the German dance industry. He is the Managing Director of Shah-Music Germany where he runs seven different labels, owns a publishing, production company, booking & artist management studios and a new media agency.


But Pedro is much more than just another business man. As a DJ he plays around the globe (Ibiza, Turkey, France, Greece, Poland, Thailand, Switzerland, Spain). As a producer he releases his singles in more than 60 countries world-wide and takes care of productions on 1st class labels such as Blackhole NL, Tsunami NL, Nebula UK, Armada NL, Ministry Of Sound UK. As a Remixer he works together with his partner DJ Shah for System F, Johan Gielen, Josh Gabriel, Thrillseekers, Cosmic Gate, DJ Shah, Future Breeze. As a radio producer he runs with Shah on of the Europe's most successful radio format "MELLOMANIA" with 1.5 million listeners monthly.


Most people believe that he started his career in 2000 directly after passing his High School exams, but in fact he started a few years earlier. In 1998 he already reached Top 20 dance chart positions in Germany, followed by his first #1 radio single in 1999 with REALITY under his old DJ 2 L8 alias.


In 2000 he started as freelance at Shah-Music where he took care for release schedules and promotions but received more and more responsibilities. In 2001 he released his first Pedro Del Mar single HARDER?! which became one of the most played tunes during the summer with big support by Judge Jules, Tiesto and all other key DJs. The result was a UK chart entry as well as deals in more than 60 countries on all five continents.


Pedros follow up singles also reached unbelievable support by the worlds top DJs. In the following months and years he played tons of international gigs in various countries, there under 6 hours back2back sets at the Privilege openings in Ibiza (the biggest club on earth). But as he became more and more busy with all business at Shah-Music, the time for being in the studio became less and less.


Since early 2006 he is again meeting up in the studio with his producer DJ Shah working on his own stuff beside his usual business work. Besides some remixes, he also took the time to finish his first solo single since more than two years "PEDRO DEL MAR - FEEL" which is going to be released soon on Intelligence with a huge remix package by Ronski Speed, Stoneface & Terminal, Martin Roth and some other guys.


Pedro is also the Mastermind behind MELLOMANIA which is not only famous for its unbelievable radio success, but also for its events and compilations. The show itself is one of Germanys leading trance and progressive formats, broadcasted each Monday evening from 8-12pm CET at Germanys biggest dance station Sunshine Live and guest mixes by all international top DJs, such as Tiesto, Gabriel & Dresden, Armin Van Buuren and so on. The show is also broadcasted in the USA, Canada, UK, Hungary, Argentina, Netherlands and Australia amongst other countries.


Pedro's DJ sets can be described as a journey through electronical music. Even though he is specialized into the trance scene, his sets might also influenced by House, Tribal and Progressive music. It must be his special dj sets that have been honored with #161 in the UK's DJ Mag in 2005 without having played in UK and the USA!!! [/align]

A known DJ in the EDM world today i listened to some shows couple of years ago at di.fm when i didn't have any limitations and i liked them.
