I first want to talk about Sean Tyas the person, not the producer nor the remixer.
I had the chance to talk to Sean 2 months ago and I really consider him a dear friend of mine (I have the honor Sean). We talked many times about various topics and he always showed me how much of a "down to Earth" man he is. Sean is funny, nice and good-hearted. I feel lucky to have actually talked to him. And now, here's his biography!
BIOGRAPHY:
A New York native, now residing in Switzerland, brings to the dancefloor a mix of melodic harmony and driving groove that is sure to be just as effective on the legs as it is on the heart.
He got his start in 1999 with his first set of Tech-12s and started to learn how to mix music. But for him, this was not enough. In the coming couple of years, he put together a studio and began producing records as well. By the age of twenty six, he has already remixed artists such as Christina Aguilera, Pink, Moby, Daniel Bedingfield, Christina Milian, and PPK. During this time he got his start into professional DJing with clubs in NYC such as Shelter and Exit.
Coming from the energetic trance side of things has given Sean a slight edge when choosing emotional tracks. Now as he slows himself down into deeper side of Progressive, the "less is more" philosophy is slowly coming into play, allowing room to breath in his productions and mixing but retaining all of the power from full-on trance.
Expect much more from Sean as he teams up with the wizards at Moonman Productions (www.moonmanproductions.com) in the coming months!
