Paski (real name: Pascal Touset) was born in the spring of 1982 in Rotterdam City, the Netherlands. Music has dominated his life ever since. When he was seven years old, he started taking music lessons on the keyboard, and continued to do so for ten years.
In his high school period, he was a member of two rock bands. In these years he developed his musical skills and gained experience in performing.
Meanwhile, he fell in love with electronic dance music. He began experimenting with the DOS-based trackers, composing all types of electronic music, from ambient to trance and also the harder styles.
In the summer of 2000, he moved to Enschede to study computer science at the University of Twente. His love for trance and progressive grew, and besides studying, he started DJ'ing to transfer this love to the crowd. At this time, he also discovered the well-known software package "Reason", which lifted his producing abilities to another level. By using synthesizers instead of a fixed set of samples, he suddenly could create any soundscape he wanted, and so he did.
Now, in 2005 and about one year away from his Master's degree, the first releases are a fact and his musical career is about to lift off. As a producer, he has recently signed a record deal with Airmass Music for releasing “Daybreak” under his Ocean Deep guise. As a DJ, he has played at numerous parties throughout the Netherlands. In general, his style varies from deep progressive to uplifting trance, but every track he plays or creates shares the same properties: melodious, emotional, extremely detailed, and with a nice flow, gently bringing you into a state of trance.
