^ I lived in Clapham for a year when I was in London... Good times...
Here's where I used to go and club my brains out (some may have closed down since then) -
The End (Brixton) [trance mainly]
The Fridge (Brixton) [general EDM]
The Cross (Elephant & Castle) [house, prog, tech, deep house.perfect to catch Renaissance nights & every single house legend from Sasha to Dave Seaman]
The Gallery@Ministry of Sound (Elephant & Castle) [everything EDM from psy to breakbeat]
Ministry of Sound (Elephant & Castle) [no need to elaborate]
Fabric [ultra awesome!! best club in London in my opinion]
Far more that I can't remember now but will suggest more if I remember.
Just a little advise: no club is constantly great - it very much depends on the nights that are held there by other organisers. Many organisers use the venues (the clubs I mentioned above) for their events like The Gallery and Renaissance.. A club that could have trashy electro on a Friday, will look completely different with a wicked house line-up on Saturday. So bottom line; Look for the nights, not the clubs/venues.
