Most of the names on the list don't generate public interest therefore would cause the gig to fail. God knows we have seen some of these fiascos during the last couple of years.
On the other hand if someone gets Deadmau5, I'm egging the promoter's HQ.

Sander Van Doorn... he is one of the top 15 djs .. how does he not generate public interest?
AND they bring Sander Kleinenberg(about 1 year ago), instead of John O'Callaghan for example?
Believe most of these on the list are well known.. they deserve a chance here in Lebanon.

Such nights would be successful only if done in a regular club, and not in a big venue.
Even with great promotion, don't expect more than 200-300 people attending such events!
Sander van Doorn and John O'Callaghan are today too expensive to get to a regular club fitting 300 people, unless the organizer can get a lot of sponsors, of course!
And i can't see Mix FM or NRJ going with small 'trance' events! They already do that with House/Techno at B018 and Basement. Trance still needs to be more developed in Lebanon..
Many small organizers tried that strategy already, and they failed because of lack of promotion and PR (Even when PR is good..You have to know who to get! Only trance listeners will enjoy such events..and Believe me, not all Tranceheads attend ! they just bullshit! tried and tested)!
