It's been a week since my connection was reduced to 7KB/s, this is ridiculous, it was dumb enough to pay 50$ for only 15KB/s and now it's reduced even more, what's worse is the channel engineer telling me i have to pay extra 20$ it i want to get my 15 KB/s back because 'kin 3am yitwassa before'
I need a reliable ISP and they have to be quick with installation without making me call billion times until they show up.

which ISP is better, IDM or teranet ?
I know they both give you double speed 8 to 8 but i heard that IDM lags a lot.

For the record the 8-8 double speed doesn't exist. They market it but it doesn't exist. They bullshit you with "Hey you work right? So you arrive late around 6. Well get 256 kbps and you will always see 512 kbps since you work at night anyways." That is bullshit! Plain & simple.

I tried Cyberia, Terra Net, MOBI & now Sodetel. The best among them is Cyberia but you will be damn lucky to find an unlimited spot for you. Terra is the worse DSL i've ever seen to tell you the truth. I've seen download speeds of 2 to 3 kbytes per sec on my 256 kbps ADSL from Terra. The last time I've seen this speed was back on my 28.8 kbps US Robotics modem. Some ISP's even apply a cheating system that they can be prosecuted for. They apply a quota system where they serve their clients with full speed at low consumption & it gradually DEGRADES to 25% speed as they consume more GB's. Not to forget that all the ADSL's are shared & exhausted. The best solution is to go on a dedicated line or satellite at high cost but it is not worth it. Or (you will laugh at this) buy a portable & go to Costa Ashrafieh. Order your favorite coffee drink & enjoy download/upload speeds of average 60 kbytes/sec.

well i have the Ogero DSL!..
it's downloading at about 22-28 kpbs.. [sometimes it gets down to 10 kpbs but not for long!]
but the shitty thing is that it's has a download limit at 3GB!

I think that Nick knows perfectly my opinion about LeboNet Cyberia is a huge pain in the ass most of the time... the others aren't better anyway

I heard the current minister of communications is attempting to supply ADSL nation wide and go unlimited, but the problem yet again is in those who own the market, they can't afford a competition so they're not letting the law pass.
Local ISPs suck, they are usually are people that failed opening a grocery store, zero knowledge and experience, can't discuss anything with them without having to arabize every single word.
I still don't get why dsl has to be so bad and way below average, same packages are being offered abroad double the speed with half the price offered here.
There must be a mafia controlling the whole market, it makes no sense.
