The Stig has been unmasked!!

After years of keeping his identity secret, former Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher has revealed he is ‘The Stig’, the anonymous professional test car driver from BBC motoring show ‘Top Gear’.

Each episode of the cult show, which has been sold around the world, sees ‘The Stig’ whizzing around test tracks in powerful cars wearing a white jumpsuit with his features hidden by a white crash helmet.
His identity had been hidden for years.

The Stig isnt just one fella, at one point he probably was Damon Hill, then for one show it was Lewis hamilton, and in this video it is clear why, keep an eye on his neck:

I doubt it was Michael Schumacher all along, it can't be.
I think in some episodes the STIG was a female, so it was never the same person.

It's just a publicity stunt if you ask me. Do you seriously believe throughout all these years Schumacher had the free time to do test drives in the UK?!

There is more than one Stig - this is a fact passed on to me by a senior Top Gear producer in the UK

well apparently the "schumacher" fact is just a funny stunt! most probably the real STIG was never a one man and def not an F1 driver for many reasons.. one of them is that he's way bigger and fatter than any current F1 driver and second because once in an episode with Button i think commenting on how fast they could go with the "reasonably priced car" none of the F1 drivers who came to the show could beat his record and interestingly it seems he took a completely different lines than all other F1 drivers thus concluding in the show that he's not an F1 driver.
Also, in the 1st episode there was a black STIG who had to be changed after revealing his identity to the public without the producers acceptance..

anyway, let's see what will happen to the STIG character after that in one of the best motor shows ever!
