I'm not sure how many people still read in this digital era, but it would certainly be useful to exchange info about books we read or planning to read.
I'll kick off this one with The Prophet by Gibran Khalil Gibran. I should have read it a long time ago, but only recently did I take the time to go through it. Magnificent book, and one that makes you think and wonder.
I'm looking forward to get Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. The Da Vinci Code was nothing more than an entertaining book for me, and I'm expecting the same for the second installment.

Beirut is the World Book Capital of the Year, however if we were to be objective, not many Beirutis are reading much these days unfortunately!
I just finished a book ive been meaning to read for quite a while now, its called 'We Want Freedom' written by Mumia Abu Jamal. The book basically talks about the establishment of the Black Panther Party while shedding light on the achievements of the civil rights movement from its early days. Not sure what im going to read next, possibly something lighter.

I'm not much of a reader, not because i don't like books but because for some reason i get bored. However i plan to read a few books, one or two for sure this summer and one of them is one that i bought at Virgin 2.5 weeks ago (Emotional Intelligence).
