why is mixfm called 5800 fm?

for the past 3 cosecutive underground sessions and the jingles that usually used to say mixfm arre now saying "underground sessions on 5800fm". i was just hoping to get some info bout that issue.

well first this is in the wrong section
second... I think they had a deal with Nokia to change the station name and everything related to it to 5800 FM for the whole weekend. so I guess that was the reason you heard those jingles

lol copying the AE campaign.
American Express Blue did the same with Radio One couple of years ago. it was "Blue FM" or "Radio Blue" all day long instead of Radio One on the jingles. and late in the afternoon, a guy from American express was interviewed on a special Road show to talk about Am. express.
cool idea! but must be well placed.

its an advertising campaign for the Nokia 5800 phone, so far the most advertised and promoted nokia mobile in the country, and yeah i guess it deserves the work, its agreat phone!

That has got to be one of the weakest campaigns I've ever read about! Applies to both AE and Nokia.
